To find the half of any number you just have to divide that number by 2. Lets do it, and then check our work:-

55 ÷ 2 = 27.5
The half of 55 is, 27.5.

CHECK OUR WORK:-

27.5 × 2 = 55
We were RIGHT!!!

So, the half of 55 is 27.5.
