We calculate f(-3);g(-3) and f(-3) - g(-3);
Then, f(-3) = (-3)^2 - 1 = 9 - 1 = 8; g(-3) = -3; f(-3) - g(-3) = 8 - (-3) = 8 + 3 = 11;
