Is “O, that I were a glove upon that hand,/ That I might thought that cheek” a metaphor in Act 2 Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet?

Respuesta :

touch that cheek" is what Romeo said.
I don't think it is a metaphor. What is being compared? and to what? It is certainly figurative language. I don't know that I could classify it as anything that is common, but I read somewhere that there are over 50 different kinds of figures of speech.
