A magnet motor, also known as a magnetic motor, is a form of perpetual motion device designed to produce rotation using permanent magnets in the stator and rotor without the use of external energy. Both conceptually and physically, such a motor is not feasible.
Numerous amateurs have championed the concept of working magnetic motors. It is conceivable that it is parascience. The term "free energy" is frequently used.
Magnet motors should not be confused with permanent magnet motors, which are more frequently used and are powered by an external electrical energy source.
Permanent magnets are used in both the stator and rotor of a hypothetical magnet motor. A circular movement of the rotor is allegedly kept going forever by a specific configuration of the attracting and repelling poles.
