m-RNA is nucleic acid sequence obtained after information carried in a certain DNA sequence is converted to RNA in a process referred to as transcription. this process is catalyzed by the enzyme DNA transcriptase. The resulting m-RNA is then converted to protein in a process called translation. every three nucleotide bases code for one amino acid and if for instance m-RNA strand has a total of 300 bases, a poly-peptide of 100 amino acid will be synthesized.
The mRNA molecule sequence and the amino acid sequence to make a resulting protein are very much related. The cell uses genetic information contained in mRNA to make the proteins that make the cell work and proteins are made up of amino acids. The mRNA and the amino acid are connected by a ribosome that acts as a decoder to translate the codons or information contained in the mRNA to produce the information that the amino acid needs to make up a protein. The ribosome acts as a translator of this information. Therefore, mRNA and amino acid sequences are different translations of the same codons are information.
