(30 points, will mark as brainliest) I need help with my algebra 1 homework, its open book so don't worry I can ask on here.
*slightly urgent*

2. Suppose y varies directly with x. Write a direct variation equation that relates x and y when y = 8 and x = -4.
3. Write an equation in slope intercept form of the line that passes through (-3,4) and (1,4).
4. Write an equation in point slope form that passes through the point (-2,5) and has a slope of 4.
5. Write an equation of a line that pass through (3,4) and is perpendicular to the graph of y = -3x + 7.

Explanations would be nice, but if you cannot do that its fine. I just need a bit of help.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2.

y=kx

8=-4k

k=-2

so y=-2x

3.

[tex]eq.~of~line~is~y-4=\frac{4-4}{1+3} =\frac{0}{4} =0\\or~y=4\\or~y=0 x+4[/tex]

4.

eq. of  line is y-5=4(x+2)
