If the bus traveled 100 miles in two hours. If we want to find how many miles the bus have travelled in 8 hours, we can simply take the final hour and subtract it by the original hour, which will give us 4. From there we take the original miles and multiply it by that 4. Which will give us 400 miles in 8 hours.
