After Hurricane Katrina, the Bush administration was criticized for responding only after flooding damaged the city. Hurricane Katrina was both a storm, categorized as a hurricane and was one of the deadliest in the United States. The storm hit from Florida all the way to Texas, but New Orleans in Louisiana was badly hit, with eighty percent of the city being flooded.
