The leap by Louise Erdrich : what insight about the relationship between mother and daughter is presented in the resolution of the story ?

Respuesta :

The daughter who is also the narrator  comes home and is able to read to her mother who is now blind. The daughter believes that she is indebted to her mother because of the following three stories:

1. Anna was the one-half of a blindfolded flying trapeze act. Her first husband was the other half of the act. There was an electrical storm and she tried to save her husband but lost her husband and her unborn child. 2. Anna's second husband is a doctor who helps with her rehabilitation after the accident and teaches her how to read. He is also the narrator's father.3. Anna saved her life when her daughter was 7 years old. The house was on fire and Anna got to the upstairs bedroom where her daughter was because of her acrobactic skills.
