There are four methods of note taking – lists, outlines, concept maps, and Cornell method. Among them, the concept map best shows the relationships among ideas. To use this method, a central idea is placed in the center of the page. Lines and circles are then added for new ideas. Arrows and lines are also used to connect the various ideas.
