Russia covers about 1/30 of the earth surface. The area of Russia is about 1 2/3 times the area of Canada. What fraction of the earth surface does Canada cover?

Russia (R) = 1/30
Canada (C) = ?
1 2/3 as a mixed number is 5/3
R = 5/3 * C
Therefore
R / (5/3) = C
(1/30) / (5/3) = C
C = 0.02
Or 2/100
