How did ahmose manage to become king of all Egypt

he did this by conquering the Lower Egypt, which at that time was held by the Hyksos (Asiatic People of multi-ethnic origin). Around 1500 BCE Ahmose drove the Hyksos out and then declared himself king of all Egypt.
