g(c) = x^2-x
g(2) = 4 - 2 = 2
g(2+h) = (2+h)^2 - (2+h)
g(2+h) = 4 + 4h + h^2 - 2 -h
g(2+h) = h^2 + 3h + 2
g(2+h)-g(2)/h = ( h^2 + 3h + 2 - 2) / h
g(2+h)-g(2)/h = (h^2 + 3h) / h
g(2+h)-g(2)/h = h + 3
