A radio station had 250 tickets to a concert. they gave away four times as many to listeners as to employees. How many tickets did they gave away to employees?

4x=amount of tickets given to listeners
set up an equation: 5x=250
x=50
The company gave 50 tickets to employees and 200 tickets to listeners
50

since listeners get 4 times as many as employees we can set that to 5x. 4 for  listeners and 1 for employees 
250 =5x 
50=x
