9 times 4 times 7 is 252.

pie(3)8 is 75.36.
Volume of rectangular prism:

lwh= 9 x 4 x 7
     = 252 in^3

Volume of cylinder:
πr^2h= π9 x 8
         = π 72
         = 226.08 in^3

Therefore the rectangular prism can hold more ice cream.
