If you're failing a class in middle school try and put most of your effort into improving it, for example, ask your teacher if you can stay after school so he/she can tutor you a little.
Another way is to study a lot for tests, and this means to get enough sleep with it as well so your brain doesn't give up half way through.
Also don't be a teachers pet, I knew someone who actually got a negative A when he could have gotten an easy positive A purely because he kissed up.
Well... I failed almost all of my classes when I was in middle school and now I'm in high school and I'm 1st of my class and student council president. My middle school grades did not effect me... BUT it is best to start getting your studies together and start to focus on school about in the middle of eighth grade so that way you are prepared for high school. But if you are really concerned about it, you should get extra help from teachers or smart kids and make sure you go home and do your homework right away and actually study for tests. And don't just "do your homework" you need to understand it. Using khan academy really helps. Or watching YouTube videos about it and practicing (if it's math) over and over until you finally get it.
