Instead of flying around in anger, what if you channeled those angry emotions into some type of physical activity, like cleaning your house. You may spend several hours furiously scrubbing your kitchen and bathroom. Once your feelings of frustration finally subside, you'll have a positive result — a sparkling clean home. This is one example of how sublimation can transform negative impulses into behavior that is less destructive and even productive
