To find the distance between two points we have to use the following formula:

[tex]\begin{gathered} d=\sqrt{(8-(-2))^2+(3-6)^2} \\ d=\sqrt{(10)^2+(-6)^2\frac{}{}} \\ d=\sqrt{100+36} \\ d=\sqrt{136} \\ d=11.66 \end{gathered}[/tex]It means that the distance between these two points is 11.66.
