calculate the length of the adjacent sides to 31 and 43 degrees, of the given traingles (these are the heights), as follow:
[tex]\begin{gathered} \cos 31=\frac{h_1}{425} \\ h_1=425\cdot\cos 31 \\ h_1\approx364.3 \end{gathered}[/tex][tex]\begin{gathered} \cos 43=\frac{h_2}{560} \\ h_2=560\cdot\cos 43 \\ h_2\approx409.5 \end{gathered}[/tex]The difference in the heights is:
h2 - h1 = 409.5 - 364.3 = 45.2
Hence, the answer is 45.2 meters
