we need to find the centroid of these three points, to do this we will use the equation the image says:

[tex]x_{centroid}=(\frac{x_1+x_2+x_3^{}}{3})[/tex]

and

[tex]y_{centroid}=(\frac{y_1+y_2+y^{}_3}{3})[/tex]

so, to identify x1, x2, and x3, remember that the points always are written in this order= (x,y) so, we have the points:

A - (3, 3), x1=3 y1=3

B = (1,0), x2=1 y2=0

C - (2,9). x3=2 y3=9

and now replace it on the equation:

[tex]x_{centroid}=(\frac{3+1+2}{3})=2[/tex][tex]y_{centroid}=(\frac{3+0+9}{3})=4[/tex]

so the answer is:

the centroid is on the point: (2,4)
