let us subsitute in value of x.
[tex]\begin{gathered} =\sqrt{7\cdot\frac{3}{4}+5} \\ =\sqrt{\frac{41}{4}} \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]now,
[tex]\begin{gathered} =\sqrt{3\cdot\frac{3}{4}+8} \\ =\sqrt{\frac{41}{4}} \end{gathered}[/tex]we get the same answer for the equation.
Thus 3/4 is a solution of the given equaion.
