On July 25, 2008, First National Bank of Nevada, Reno, NV, was once closed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Subsequently, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was once named Receiver.
F.N.B. Corporation and UB Bancorp have announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement for FNB to accumulate UB Bancorp, such as its wholly owned banking subsidiary, Union Bank. FNB and UB Bancorp anticipate to complete the merger, which will improve FNB's North Carolina presence, in late 2022.
