At a school 40%of six grade students said hop hop is there favorite kind of music. If 100 six grade students perfer hip hop music, how many six graders are at the school?

if in the school there are 100 students prefer Hip Hop then we have to calculate the 100% with a rule of three so:

[tex]\begin{gathered} x\to100 \\ 100\to40 \end{gathered}[/tex]

so the equation is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=\frac{100\cdot100}{40} \\ x=250 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So in total there are 250 students
