The given mixtures will be separated by Fractional Distillation
What is Fractional Distillation?
Separating a mixture into its constituent parts, or fractions, is known as fractional distillation. By heating chemical mixtures to a temperature where one or more fractions of the mixture evaporate, chemical compounds are separated. Distillation is used to fractionate.
The fundamental idea behind fractional distillation is that different liquids boil and evaporate at different temperatures. Because of this, in fractional distillation, as the mixture is heated, the component with the lower boiling point will begin to boil first and turn into vapours.
Water purification and ethanol and water separation both employ fractional distillation. These both examples have different temperature thus they will evaporate at different point thus separating each of the following mixtures.
