I don't understand how to find the domain and range of the relation from a graph. I follow how to get it from sets of ordered pairs.I follow the black dot as (-2,-1) and the end dot is (-3,-3). The x is infinity and y = -1 but from the options I don't get 3 I only see -3 so I'm confused.

Respuesta :

From the graph given

Where each box represents 1 unit,

The domain of the relation is the set in which all of the inputs fall

The domain of the graph is

[tex](-\infty,3)[/tex]

The range of a relation is second coordinates and the range of the graph given is

[tex](-\infty,-1\rbrack[/tex]

Hence, the domain and range on the graph are

[tex]\begin{gathered} \text{Domian}\Rightarrow(-\infty,3) \\ \text{Range}\Rightarrow(-\infty,-1\rbrack \end{gathered}[/tex]
