Kumbhalgarh, located 84 kilometers north of Udaipur in the wilderness, is the Mewar region's second most important citadel after Chittorgarh. Rana Kumbha built the fort in the 15th century AD in the Aravali Ranges.The wall, which is one of the world's longest, is commonly referred to as the Great Wall of India. The thickness of the fort's frontal wall is 15 feet. Inside the fort, there are over 360 temples, 300 of which are ancient Jain temples and the rest are Hindu shrines.
