Area of rhombus = 1/2 * diagonal * diagonal

72 = 1/2 * AC * BD

Diagonals bisect each other in a rhombus so if EC is 8 then AC is 16

72 = 1/2 * 16 * x - 1
72 = 8(x-1)
9 = x-1
X = 10

72 = 1/2 * 16 * 10-1
72 = 1/2 * 16 * 9
72 = 8 * 9
72=72
