The foreman magnum is formed by occipital bone consist of three parts such as - basilar , lateral and squamosal. In which basilar part is formed due to fusion of occipital bone and clivus. Then lateral part is formed by occipital condyles, which articulate with atlas.
Obturator foramen is the largest foramen in the human body which is present in pelvic bone. Foramen magnum is formed with four bones - para squama , left and right pars lateralis and pars basilaris.
