☆Exothermic reaction:

  • The reaction in which heat is evolved or released is called Exothermic reaction.
  • Example:- [tex]C[/tex] + [tex]O_{2}[/tex] ------->[tex]CO_2[/tex] + heat.

☆Endothermic reaction:

  • The reaction in which heat is absorbed is called Endothermic reaction.
  • Example:- [tex]N_{2}[/tex] + [tex]O_{2}[/tex] + heat ----> 2NO
