neither. caffeine causes blood vessels to constrict, which can cut off blood supply to the fetus. and advil reduces blood flow to a fetus's kidneys (and other organs!), which can result in low urine output and cause other problems in the body. for example, the pathways to the fetal heart can become narrower and narrower until the blood supply is almost cut off completely
