Respuesta :

The solution to the system of linear equations is, (2.3, 4.1)

What will be the solutions of the given linear equation ?

Given the system of the equation:

  1.  [tex]2x+3y=16.9[/tex]
  2.   [tex]5x=y+7[/tex]

Equation number 2 can be written as

[tex]x=\dfrac{y+7}{5}[/tex]

Put the value of x in equation number 1 we will get

⇒      [tex]2\times\dfrac{y+7}{5} +3y=16.9[/tex]

⇒  [tex]2x+14+15y=84.5[/tex]

⇒ [tex]y=4.1[/tex]

Put the value of y in equation number 2 we will get value of x.

[tex]5x=y+7[/tex]

[tex]x=\dfrac{y+7}{5}[/tex]

[tex]x=\dfrac{4.1+7}{5}[/tex]

[tex]x=2.3[/tex]

Hence the solution to the system of linear equations is, (2.3, 4.1)
