Hi..how are you? I hope you are doing well.I miss you a lot.I recently got your letter.It was amazing to hear about you after a long period of time.How are your parents by the way?Tell them I said hi, will you?
I know you want to know about ny country a lot so I am going to write a few words about it.
The name of my country is Nepal as you already know.It lies in the southern part of Asia continent.Our country is officially the Federal Democratic Republican country.According to the census of 2020 AD we have a population of around 29.14 million.Its capital city is Kathmandu where I currently live.Nepali is the official language spoken all wide in the country.Nepal is a secular country with various people from Hindusium,Buddhism,Muslim, Christian religion too and many others.Its total area is 142,156 km^2.Nepal is a narrow country surrounded by two big neighbouring countries India from south,east and west and China from north.
Many of the holidays in Nepal are Hindu festivals. These festivals have no set date and follow astronomical observations. For example, Makar Sankranti is a festival that is based on the solar calendar. During this festival, people celebrate by swimming in the Ganges River or other rivers.
Maha Shivaratri is considered the great night of Shiva. Followers of Shiva fast and offer Bael leaves to the Shiva, according to Hindu Online. Basant Panchami is held in January and celebrates the coming of spring.
