Delia has 2 rectangular vegetable gardens. One measures 1.5 meters by 3.5 meters and the other measures 2 meters by 1.5 meters. If Delia wants to put up a fence around both, how much fencing does she need to buy?

This is a perimeter problem, which is adding up all the sides, so you add up 1.5+1.5+3.5+3.5 = 10

2+2+1.5+1.5= 7

10+7 = 17
