A leaking pipe loses 1.5 cups of water per hour. How many quarts of water does it lose in a week? PLEASE HELP

well you see.. we have 24 hours in a day, so 24 times 1.5 is 36.. now if its a week.. all we have to do is multiply 36 x 7 because we know how much water we now lost in a day.. 36.. so now we add up the 7 days by multiplying.. and we get 252
