Can somebody just check me? For the function f(x) = (3 – 4x)², find f–1. Determine whether f–1 is a function. Is this right? what i have:
f(x)=(3-4x)^2
f(1)=(3-4x1)^2
=(3-4)^2
=(-1)^2
=1
f is a function

Respuesta :

I hope this helps you

y=(3-4x)^2

square root of y=3-4x

4x=3 - square square root of y

x= 3 - square root of y/4

f^-1 (x)= 3 - square root of x /4 inverse f (x)

x= -1

f (-1)=(3-4. (-1))^2

f (-1)=(3+4)^2

f (-1)=7^2

f (-1)=49
