The Day of the Dead
The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition. Its like our Halloween but a celebration for the dead. People dress up in very colorful clothes, girls dress up in beautiful dresses and boys dress up in tuxedos they also put on makeup to make them selves look like skeletons. It is a gift to the loved ones that they believe have passed to the after life. They celebrate by, making their loved ones favorite food, flowers, drinks, and their picture. They also believe they guide the dead by putting special flowers along the way to their cemetery stone. The Day of the Dead also includes food, music, and love.
