dalia bought a few swirl marbles and divided it equally among four of her friends and her brother jake. while playing jake lost 2 marbles and has only 7 marbles at present. find how many marbles did dalia buy in all.

The total amount of marbles jake has =7+2 which is 9.

If jake has 9 marbles then the other four friends of daila also have 9 each because daila divided the marbles equally

9+9+9+9+9=45

Or 9x5 (daila shared between 5 peps)

Daila bought 45 marbles in total
