Answer: Nutrition is important for the mother and the baby, it helps to make sure the baby is healthy and the mother doesn't lack certain vitamins  and minerals.

Green vegetables, fruits, nuts. Citrus foods are good. They ensure good health for mommy and baby, and they ensure they both get what they need.

Yes, you can eat fast food but only in moderation cause it is very fatty and high on sodium. There's nothing you should avoid of what I know of. But you need to eat all your foods in moderation and make sure not to over eat.

There's no exact weight you should expect to gain, cause every mother is different.

You can take folic acid pills but they have side affects that may cause depression.

Cravings do go away, I don't know what they are from. But they do go away after pregnancy.

You can get it from almond milk which I drink a lot.

I don't know how many extra calories you get cause everyone is different and may get slightly more or less.

Yes, but don't starve yourself or over eat cause it's not good for mommy or baby.

Only take medication as you need it.

8 glasses of water is ideal.
