leamed a lesson
Now that we have read and listened to some of the native stories and myths from around
Oregon and other areas, you have the opportunity to write your own. Please write a short
legend or myth that uses an animal or animals, to teach a lesson or skill to humanss
Be sure to include
At least one animal
A lesson, or moral, the human learns.
A clear beginning, middle and end to your story.
The animal must offer some sort of advice to help the human learn a lesson.

this short story is called how i meet a mermaid

it was one monday morning i was going to fish

as always then will i was idling in the boat i asw something that caught my attention i tried to catch it ,but all efforts grew fruit when i lifted i saw something beyond my imagination. i couldn't believe that it was a mermaid, the mermaid asked me to let her go i said no i am not leaving you then she said i will strike a deal with u a wish and u let me go. SHOULD I CONTINUE
