Notice that Spain, France and England all claimed land in the New World. Locate those areas. (Interesting story – New York used to be called New Amsterdam. The Dutch had colonies here before the English; what happened to them?)
Well what happened was the people went away but the language is still used some people live in the area and still use the culture. Many things have changed but some of the culture has been changing by the people.
