lets say for the first transformation x=1 and y=2
the transformation results in quadrant 2 (originating in quadrant 1) telling us it was a 90° counter-clockwise turn
for the second transformation we can let x=3 and y=4
transformation 2 results in quadrant 3 (originating in quadrant 1) telling us it was a 180° counter-clockwise turn
