Respuesta :

I'll confirm what was listed by the other respondent, and add a note:

1. Australopithecus afarensis ("Southern ape from afar")
2. Homo Habilis  ("Handy (or skillful) man")
3. Homo erectus  ("Upright man")
4. Homo neanderthalensis ("Man from Neander Valley")
5. Homo Sapiens ("Wise man")

It's interesting that you posted your question in the history section of Brainly. Usually we think of "history" as the recorded story of human societies. But anthropology qualifies in the category of "Big History," as some have termed it.  That term was coined by the scholar David Christian, whom I met once at a conference where he was a presenter.  His idea was that we look at "history" not just as what has happened in the recorded records of human beings, but look back at all that has occurred in the history of the universe.  So the "Big History" concept incorporates the story of evolution into its account of things.

The order of appearance on Earth is:

First ___ Australopithecines

Second ___Homo habilis

Third ___ Homo erectus

Fourth ____ Neanderthals

Fifth ____ Homo sapiens

Australopithecines appeared on Earth about 5.6 million years ago and lived there until about 1.2 million years ago.

Homo habilis appeared on Earth about 2.4 million years ago and lived in Africa until about 1.6 million years ago.

Homo Erectus appeared on Earth about 2 million years ago and lived in Africa and Asia about 70,000 years ago.

Homo Neanderthalensis appeared on Earth about 230,000 ago and lived in Europe and Asia until about 40,000 years ago.

Homo Sapiens appeared on Earth about 200,000 years ago and still live on Earth.
