I’m a marine ecosystem, starfish prey upon the common mussel . Common mussels feed upon plankton . What is MOST likely to happen if the number of starfish is increased
The mussel's would be harder to come across, and eventually the starfish population would go down due to the demand of mussels. Eventually there wont be enough food to sustain all the starfish.
