You noticed many of the children did not have hats or mittens to wear in the cold weather. You decided to start a business that will provide hats and mittens to children in need. You quickly realize you will need help in this venture and set out to find a cofounder.

The qualities that one would require in a co-founder depends on a lot of factors. These include the type of chemistry that needs to be developed, the sort of help required from a cofounder, and the type of business venture that is being undertaken. In the case of this question, the business venture being undertaken is one that works towards achieving a social cause. Therefore, it has a noble objective and to achieve this objective there are certain traits that a cofounder should have in order to build harmoney in terms of team work.

Being economically motivated is not a quality that would be helpful in this case. Since this a social cause that aims to provide warm clothing to the lower income segment of society, it is one that does not have profit maximization as a core objective. If a person is economically motivated, they wont do well in a set up that does not offer economic returns.

The venture does not persistance in the face of adversity to enable the individual to carry on amidst an onslaught of issues. Creativity is important to ensure creative solutions to problems. Whether it is figuring out how to develop a strategy, how to source the products, how to navigate through the supply chain and how to raise funding, you need creativity. And of course, a person has to be hard working to ensure they will work diligently to successfuly achieving set objectives
