Let’s relate the concept- Have you ever cooked noodles? What happens to the noodles as they are soaking in the water? Relate it to diffusion/osmosis

When in a pan of water, the noodles will take up the water via osmosis. This is because the water will move from a high concentration in the pan to a low concentration inside of the noodles.
