A biography/autobiography explains a person’s life. A biography is a book/other media written about a person’s life written by someone else. Therefore, this has to be filled with complete facts, because it’s about a person’s life.
Both types of literary genre can portray childhood, education, career, relationship, occupation, death, etc. A person who writes either is writing a factual piece of literary.
