Two-Bit summarizes Ponyboy's outburst about fairness by saying, "I know," Two-Bit said with a good-natured grin, 'the chips are always down when it's our turn, but that's the way things are. Like it or lump it.'" (43 or something) Explain this scene. (what's happening and what are they taking about?)
They are talking about how things in life arent fair and that you should deal with it. For example Two-Bit says "Like it or Lump it' basically meaning to deal with it or get angry about it.
