The answer is A) has invested a lot in the organization in terms of time and efforts.

The reason being that due to the degree of involvement in the company said individual has also a greater risk to be affected if any illegal actions take place. Also the more that a person has to lose (either economically, morally, etc) the less likely it is for them to involve him/herself in illegal activies that can affect them directly.
