On Monday, 490 students went on a field trip to the zoo. All 9 buses were filled and 4 students had to travel in cars. How many students were in each bus?

Alright so 4 students rode in cars so do 490-4=486
Now do 486 (# of students riding bus) divided by 9 (how many buses) which gets u 54
So 54 students were on each bus
490-4 = 486
486/9= 54
There were 54 students.
