I believe the answer is: Can name, classify, and categorize the self.

This mean that the children had developed the awareness of their existence within the spatial environment where they lived in.  They could distinguish which things are a part of their own (i.e: body parts and consciousness) , and distinguish ones are external objects that is not a part of them.
